The Supply Chain Planning Manager will be leading and coaching a team of 3 supply chain planners. Together with your team you will work closely with other departments, such as Sales, Logistics, Finance and Marketing. Optimizing our inventory levels and managing the inbound flow of goods will be your main responsibility. Alignment on processes with your peers in the other companies in the group is a key aspect of the role. The role reports directly to the Country Manager France and has a dotted reporting line to the Chief Operations Officer.
To achieve this goal, your functions will be the following:
·Manage and train a team of 3 Supply Chain Planners
·Ensure that import and export purchase orders are properly planned and placed
·Lead your team brainstorming sessions
·Define processes, procedures and monitoring tools for your area of responsibility
·Align processes with your counterparts at Group level
·Ensure compliance with local and group processes and procedures
·Set up and lead S&OP meetings
·Monitor the main KPIs
·Ensure that stocks are analysed and that supply requirements are correctly defined in line with the product life cycle and stock coverage targets,
·Coordination with the Supply Chain functions of Logistics, Procurement and Customer Service, as well as other departments such as Sales, Finance and Marketing.
·Analyse requests
·Manage relations with freight forwarders (follow-ups, negotiating prices and lead times, monitoring quality of service),
·Be involved in Group projects
·Train your team and drive improvements in the ERP system (Oracle Cloud)
Personality and Competences:
·Team player with good collaboration and negotiation skills
·Hands-on mentality, capable of delivering tangible results also by stepping in and doing the work
· Strong analytical and computation skills
·Enjoy identifying root cause, solving problems and driving solutions
Your Profile and Experience:
·Minimum of 5 years experience in demand & supply planning, preferably in a FMCG company
· Management experience
· Track record in optimizing inventory
·Having lead or being a stakeholder in S&OP is a plus
·Familiar with ERP systems linked to order processing and inventory management
·You are able to effectively work in an international environment dealing with cultural differences
·Very skilled in data analytics, building reports and relevant performance metrics
·Excellent knowledge of both French and English, verbal and in writing
