Reporting to the General Manager France, the Country Sales Manager is responsible for driving profitable and sustainable growth in France and supporting the strategic pillars of Jumbo Group.

Location : Boulogne Billancourt


Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Define, implement & drive the commercial strategy for France considering strategic pillars of the Group, local channel prioritization, and being connected to consumers.
  2. Lead accounts management in the country, monitor financials (trade terms, P&L…), develop solid partnerships with customers.
  3. Develop and lead outstanding execution of sales plans focusing on high level of service to our customers, support S&OP process.
  4. Build meaningful and valuable connexions with other departments both locally and regionally.
  5. Manage a Team of Key Account Managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shape the vision and sales strategy
  • Develop strategic directions & objectives for the country
  • Define sales distribution to support the strategy and maximize growth opportunities
  • Achieve company objectives by planning thoroughly, setting sales goals, analysing performance data, and making forecasts.
  • Pilot negotiations of annual national agreements with customers, ensure follow up and maintain investments within approved budget.
  • Secure execution of Strategic Account plans by being the expert of customers. needs, analysing business results (sell in / sell out) & maximizing opportunities.
  • Execute the annual sales budget of the country, achieving the global quota set.
  • Follow-up of results and objectives
  • Prepare monthly reports and coordinate tasks and transversal teams
  • Generate leads, establish and nurture client relationships
  • Identify consumers’ and customers’ needs, propose solutions to address them
  • Plan, design and implement the promotional activity
  • Coordinate execution with other Business Units for regional accounts
  • Promote and foster teamwork and business collaboration with other departments
  • Drive activity with external sales partners.
  • Develop skills continuously train, and lead team members.
  • Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop plans for filling them.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in sales position managing strategic accounts / channels.
  • Experience in Non-food and seasonal categories.
  • Experience in Management.

Skills and requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Business / Engineering School or similar.
  • Aligning commercial strategies with marketing initiatives.
  • Understanding product launch strategies.
  • Knowledge of general sales conditions and trade laws.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (Amazon etc.).
  • High level of Excel.
  • High level of English.
  • Valid driving licence
